Word Play

I love this wording from the Word Play Stamp Set, it's perfect for graduations, promotions, and new beginnings.  This is a graduation card I made to give to a friend's daughter.  The butterfly is die-cut from the Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die.  I've used my Paisley Petals Designer Papers again...I just love them!  They're retiring as well as the Crimper, which was used on the Always Artichoke card stock across the center.

Well Worn Father's Day Card

Today's Father's Day card was created with the Well Worn Designer Series Papers, Framelits Labels Dies and the Best Dad Ever Stamp Set.  I think the papers have a masculine quality that made them the perfect choice for Father's Day.  Since I struggle to come up with ideas for "manly" cards, I decided to choose a layout I had used before and then used the Well Worn papers to inspire my color choices.  From there, it was pretty easy : )

Pocket Silhouettes

Pocket Silhouettes is probably my favorite stamp set for making clean and simple thank you notes in a hurry.  It's retiring and definitely a set I would get before it's gone!  The images are so sweet and they look great simply stamped or embellished with punches and accessories. 

For today's card, I used markers to add color directly onto the stamp before stamping and then added punched flowers.  I cut the flower pot from Crumb Cake card stock and sponged the edges with Crumb Cake Classic ink.

Simply Adorned Necklace

I got this Simply Adorned Charm and Chain last Fall and completely forgot I had it, until I came across it today!  Makes me wonder what other wonderful things I have buried in this room : )  Anyway, now that I've had a chance to get my hands on one, I love it!  The hinged charm makes it really easy to insert your creations, so you can switch them out for any occasion, season, etc.  This is the 1" x 1 1/4" Charm with a 24" Chain and I used the Fresh Vintage Sale-a-bration stamp set with a retired Triple Flower Punch to decorate the inside.

Messages for Mom

Messages for Mom is a retiring stamp set that we'll be using in my Quick & Easy Cards Class next week.  I think this delicate floral image is so pretty.  I inked the stamp with Pear Pizzazz Classic Ink and then used the Island Indigo Marker to add color to the flowers before stamping.  Then I used my Blender Pen to blend the ink inward for soft color inside the flowers and leaves.  The Certainly Celery 5/8" Satin Ribbon and Pear Pizzazz In Color products are both retiring and only available while supplies last!

Flight of the Butterfly

Today's card is my free Thank You card for May.  I used the Flight of the Butterfly Stamp Set with the Butterfly Punch to create this card.  The "kissing" technique was used on the butterflies to create the pretty flowered pattern.

I love these colors for this time of year...Regal Rose, Peach Parfait, and Pear Pizzazz.  Peach Parfait and Pear Pizzazz are both retiring In Colors.  The stamp set and punch are also retiring.  Stamp sets are available until May 31st, but the punch and In Colors are only available while supplies last!

Today is the final day for the Summer Smooches promotion and the Occasions Mini Catalog.  The cute Baja Breeze Twitterpated Designer Button used on today's card is in the Occasions Mini Catalog and the Bright Blossoms Stamp Set (Summer Smooches Promotion) won't be available again until June. 

The stem was inked with Pear Pizzazz Classic Ink, a retiring In Color, only available until May 31st (while supplies last). The Paisley Petals Designer Series Papers were the inspiration for the colors on this card...they're so pretty!  But, they are also only available while supplies last!

Summer Smooches Petite Purse

This was my 3D Stamp Club Project for this month.  It's the pretty Summer Smooches Designer Paper die-cut with the Petite Purse Die.  I love how easy this die is to assemble, and it's so cute!  For the clasp, I punched a couple of flowers with the Boho Blossoms Punch and added a Summer Smooches Fabric Brad, then attached the finished flower just above the tab on the front of the purse flap with a glue dot.  This way, it can still be opened and closed easily. 

I love these brads, and apparently so does everyone else!  They were an exclusive item only available this month, but I'm sorry to say they've completely sold out and are no longer available.  But you can still get the Summer Smooches Designer Papers and Petite Purse Bigz L Die until April 30th.  After that, they won't be available until the new catalog is released in June.
