Flower Shop

My card for today is the last of three "Quick & Easy" cards for this month's class.  I used the new Flower Shop stamp set and coordinating Pansy Punch to create this cute flower, then added a Daffodil Delight Candy Dot to the center of an Itty Bitty Punched flower.  The stamp set and punch are available in a bundle at a 15% discount!!  

I used Bermuda Bay card stock and ink to create a tone-on-tone flower, which I have to say is so much prettier in person ; )  The gingham pattern is Gingham Garden Designer Washi Tape...love the ease of this stuff!!  The sentiment is in the new A Dozen Thoughts stamp set.

Too Kind

Two-step stamping with the Too Kind Stamp Set makes creating beautiful flowers so easy!  I used Coastal Caban Classic Stampin' Ink and stamped off once on the larger images to get this tone-on-tone effect.  Coastal Cabana is one of the new In Colors... such a fresh, clean color!!  The sentiment used here is one of two included in this new stamp set.  

For today's card, I also used one of our new note cards, which are now  thicker (80 lb. weight) giving them a more "quality" feel and making them sturdier for layering and embellishing!  They come in a set of 20 Note Cards and envelopes for $5.95.

Soho Subway Masculine Birthday Card

The new Soho Subway Designer Series Papers have a cool, rustic look...perfect for this masculine birthday card.  Also featured is the new Label Love Stamp Set and coordinating Artisan Label Punch.  This is one of my Quick & Easy Cards for this month.  I inked the image with the Summer Starfruit ink pad first, then added Island Indigo and Early Espresso ink directly onto the stamp with markers before stamping.  

Just a heads up regarding In Color Markers!...The 2011-2013 In Color Markers are only available while supplies last (through June 3rd).  Pool Party, Wisteria Wonder, Island Indigo & Calypso Coral are all returning in the updated color collections, but will not be available to purchase separately.  After the new catalog comes out, these markers will only be available in sets of 10 markers in their respective color collections. be available in sets of 10 markers in their respective color collections or in a set of 10 New Color Stampin' Write Markers (Item #130034).

Mosaic Madness Sneak Peek

Just Believe

Just Believe is one of my favorite retiring stamp sets.  I love the simple elegance of this note card.  I added color to the stamp by inking it first with the Old Olive ink pad, then removing the ink from just the flowers and berries with a Blender Pen, and adding Raspberry Ripple ink with a marker before stamping.  I cut it out and popped it up with Dimensionals.

Hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day!  I made it back in town to enjoy dinner with my husband and all of the kids...so it was a good day : )

Butterfly Note Card

The flower on this Tiny Tags sentiment coordinates nicely with the Raspberry Ripple patterned paper in the Print Poetry Designer Series Paper Stack.  My sweet 3x3 note card is so easy to make...it's simply layered Very Vanilla card stock.  The Elegant Butterfly was punched in the smallest layer and popped up over the designer paper with Dimensionals.

The Tiny Tags Stamp Set is one of my favorites!  It coordinates with the Jewelry Tag Punch...sadly, they're both retiring.  The stamp set is available through June 3rd, but the punch is only available while supplies last.
