I'm so sorry it's taken me so long to get the directions for creating the bow on this card posted. I tried and tried to master the video, but have not been able to get it to work right. I have NOT given up, but wanted to get this to you the only way I know how to for now...a photo tutorial :) There are several photos here because I wanted to show you what each step looks like.
Begin by punching two circles on either side of the dress's waistline using a 1/8" circle punch.
Next cut a 4" piece of Taffeta Ribbon and fold it in half. Holding the ends together cut diagonally to create a sharp point.
Keeping the two ends together, insert the ribbon into the front side of first hole.
Pull the ends of the ribbon through to the back side, about 1/2" on one of the ends and hold down, and pull the other end through until the loop on the front is the size you like. (Be careful not to pull it all the way through or you'll have to start over).
This is what the first loop should look like on the front side.
Thread the longer end from the back side through the second hole to the front side.
This is how it should look after pulling it through.
Thread the same end back through the same hole from front to back, leaving enough ribbon to form the second loop on the front.
This is what the back side will look like when you're finished. I used a little Snail Adhesive to hold the ends down on the back side.
The last step is to adhere a pearl from the Pretties Kit using a mini glue dot between the two loops.
