Falling Leaves Thanksgiving Card

This is the Thanksgiving card we made at Stamp Club this week.  We used the Falling Leaves Stamp Set.  I cased it from a fellow demonstrator who created it...thanks Lorri!  I really like the layout and rich Fall colors.  The Square Lattice Embossing Folder adds so much to this card!

Turkey Nugget Favor

What a cute idea!  This is another one I saw a while ago and had to try.  Wouldn't this be a cute favor to set by each place at your Thanksgiving table!  I used the 1" Circle Punch with Chocolate Chip Card Stock to make the head and the Scallop Circle Punch with the Patterns Designer Paper (Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie and Chocolate Chip) for the turkey feathers.  Wrapped a 1" wide strip of Chocolate Chip Patterns Designer Paper around the Hershey Nugget, added a couple of googlie eyeballs and cut the nose from some Pumpkin Pie scraps.  So simple!!!

Jolly Holiday Ornament Card

 
 This is one of the cards we made at the Christmas Stamp-a-Stack this week.  The great thing about this card is the impact just a small amount of Designer Paper makes.  I used the Jolly Holiday Designer Series Papers on this (there's easily enough of the patterned paper in one pack to make over 100 cards).  Just a touch adds so much to the look of the card!  The Decorative Label, Dotted Scallop Border and 3/4" Circle Punches were all used, which made mass producing much quicker and easier :)  It wouldn't be a Christmas card without a little bling, so we added a Rhinestone jewel to each ornament.  This is one of my favorite Christmas cards yet!

Peaceful Season

   

I really like this Peaceful Season Set, because it's so easy to create a quick and simple Christmas card.  I inked the holly image with Always Artichoke ink, stamped off once and then just rolled the edges of the image in the ink again to create a little depth.  Then I took the fine tip of the Always Artichoke marker to create the veins in the holly leaves.  The Fine Galaxy Glitter added a little sparkle.  I think the 1/2" Seam Binding is really nice, it has a little shimmer to it and it's such a nice weight for bows.  The Always Artichoke Seam Binding was used here, but the Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla are really pretty too!  Find the Seam Binding in the Holiday Mini Catalog.

Play Date Birthday Card

I needed a quick Birthday card for my nephew this week.  The Play Date Designer Series Papers were perfect for making something simple, but special, for his 10th birthday.  I   just popped up the colored numbers 1 and 0 with some dimensionals to make the ten stand out on top of the Chocolate Chip patterned paper. 

I've been wanting to use this paper since I got it at Convention last summer, and today I had the perfect use for it...I love it when things come together like that  :)

Christmas Stamp-A-Stack

Northern Hearts

This card was made using the Northern Hearts Hostess set in the Holiday Mini Catalog and the Deck the Halls DSP.  I wanted to jazz up the wreath a little, so I added a couple of mini jingle bells I picked up from my local craft store.  I ran some linen thread through them and tied them into the 3/8" Real Red Taffeta bow.
