Swirls & Curls Verses

Today's card is one I made really quick before I left town last Friday, it needs work, but I thought I'd post it anyway...I love the little bird :)  I used the Swirls & Curls Verses stamp set (level 1 hostess set) in the Summer Mini Catalog, and Greenhouse Gala Designer Paper.  I won't be back in my stampin' room until Thursday, but I will post the retired list tomorrow, so check back.

Father's Day Gift Card Holder

  The 3-D project we made at Stamp Club this week is this Father's Day gift card holder.  We used The Open Sea and Best Dad Ever stamp sets with the Nautical Expedition Designer Series Paper and Baker's Twine from the Summer Mini Catalog.  I don't usually get excited about masculine projects, but I think this has a nice rugged look to it.

Bold Blossom Tri-Fold Card

One of the projects we did at Stamp Club yesterday is this tri-fold card made with the Bold Blossoms stamp set, Beyond the Garden Designer Series Paper and the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch.  All three are in the Summer Mini Catalog. 

I used the triple layer punch for the first time on this project and I have to say I'm pretty pleased with how well it works and the versatility of getting three different punches in one!  The center of the flower was made with a Build-A-Brad...also very cool!  I love it when I can make an embellishment coordinate with the papers I use :)

Swirls & Curls Verses

I really love this cute font on the Swirls & Curls Verses stamp set!  It's the Level 1 Hostess Set in the Summer Mini Catalog.  I am also crazy about ribbon...I've had this little note card sitting on my desk for months with these three colors of taffeta ribbon tied around it, just waiting for something perfect to finish it.  I used Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight and Certainly Celery 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon...the colors are so fresh and cheery together!  As soon as I saw the Swirls & Curls Verses, I knew my card was finished!  This little note card is quick and easy to put together and oh so cute!

Bold Blossom Bouquet Card

This is my first project using the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch.  It coordinates perfectly with the Bold Blossom stamp set.  The Triple Layer Punches give you three different punched images in one punch body, making it more versatile and a great space saver!

Pretty Postage Gift Cards

This is a set of gift cards made with the Pretty Postage stamp set.  These are sweet little gift cards to have on hand and they only took a few minutes to make!  Just stamp the images onto Whisper White card stock and then punch them out with the Postage Stamp Punch.  Layering small images like these onto graduated sizes of card stock allows them to fill a larger space.  The finished size is 3"x 3" and they fit perfectly inside our Mini Square Envelopes. 

Tip:  For the "sweet" and "happy birthday" cards, I inked the stamp with the lighter color ink pad first and then added the darker color with the paint brush tip of the marker directly onto the stamp before stamping the image.  Contact me if you have questions.

The Open Sea Father's Day Card

It seems I'm always running behind, so I decided I'd better get busy on my Father's Day cards.  This one was made with The Open Sea stamp set and Nautical Expedition Designer Series Paper from the Summer Mini Catalog.  The papers and images have a really cool weathered look perfect for masculine cards.  I also used  the Baker's Twine and Best Dad Ever stamp set (for the "Happy Father's Day" wording), also from the Summer Mini.  For printer version of supply list and instructions, click on the link...

Baby Bundle Cards

These are such sweet baby cards and the last of the four projects from last week's Stamp-a-Stack.  The scallop circle image is from the Perfect Punches set, it's actually a Christmas stamp.  I just popped the booties from the Baby Bundle set on top of the Christmas wording...I love the versatility of stamps!  The Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder and 5/8" satin ribbon added the extra touch.  I also sponged all the white edges to give it a softer look.  Here's the link for the written instructions...

Party This Way Birthday Card

Today's birthday card is one of my favorites.  It's made with the Party This Way stamp set and Subtles Designer Papers.  I really like these scalloped pennants and adding the polka dotted papers made it so cute!  This is another card we made at my Spring Stamp-a-Stack.  This card had a few more steps to it, so I filmed a video for you.
