Party Hearty Gift Bag

Here's an easy, inexpensive idea for gift wrapping with just a plain paper bag, some stamps & ribbon.  The focal point of the gift bag is the card I created with  Celebrations Designer Series Papers and Party Hearty Stamp Set.  Today is the final day to order these retiring products!  I just checked this morning and the Celebrations DSP is still available, but supplies are going fast and once they're gone, they're no longer available!  The Party Hearty Stamp Set is one of my favorites!  It's one of the most versatile birthday stamp sets I've owned, I've used it for guys and girls, both young and old and I've received many compliments on all of those cards :)  It's a keeper for sure!!!

Priceless Butterfly Card

This is a card that can't be fully appreciated in a picture, it's so much prettier in person!  Two of my favorite retiring stamp sets, Priceless and Wonderful Favorites were used.  Wonderful Favorites has 21 smaller words to go along with "wonderful" or "favorite", see all of them on page 153 of the catalog.  We made this card at Stamp Club last night and everyone got to choose the word that worked best for their own upcoming occasions.  These two sets are only available until the end of the day tomorrow, after that they are gone forever! 

I added Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to the swirls and antennas with the Two-Way Glue Pen and Basic Pearls to the butterfly, giving this an elegant look.  For step-by-step instructions and cutting dimensions, click on the link...

Anniversary Card

My husband and I celebrated our 28th Anniversary Saturday...it's hard to believe we've been married that long!  And, for the most part, very happily :)  This is the card I made for him.  This Elegant Soirée Designer Series Paper (retiring and only available while supplies last) has the masculine look  I was going for.  I used the Two-Step Owl Punch and the Two-Step Bird Punches to create the silhouette.  I thought it was kind of funny that the card he bought for me had a couple of love birds perched similarly on the front, which he thought was more appropriate.  I told him I chose the owls because after 28 years hopefully we're a couple of wise old owls...emphasis on wise, not old :)

Pretty Postage Birthday

Here's another cute little card made with the Pretty Postage Stamp Set.  I love the assortment of images in this set.  They cover so many occasions and you can either make them look like a postage stamp by punching with the Postage Stamp Punch, or use them with a variety of other punches.  The 1" Circle Punch was used on this.

Simply Sent Card Kit

Making your own handmade cards couldn't be easier!   I made this card with the Simply Sent Sweet Hello Kit. The vines and baja breeze border come pre-printed onto pre-cut and scored cards.  The little pink flowers with pearl centers are self-adhesive and ready for you to attach.  I used my Thank You Kindly  stamp set with Old Olive ink to stamp the wording and I was done!  The kit includes enough supplies for 8 cards with envelopes and it's only available while supplies last!

Just Believe Thank You Card

The images from the Just Believe stamp set are so pretty.  I used the Wild Wasabi and Melon Mambo markers and colored right onto the stamps before stamping the images onto Whisper White card stock.  Then just cut out the "thank you" with paper snips and adhered with a dimensional.  Yes, it takes a couple minutes to cut out the image, but it's really easy and the dimension adds a nice finishing touch without needing ribbon or other embellishments.  So glad this one's not retiring :)

Playful Polka Dots Thank You Card

Back from a week of vacation and thought I'd do a quick card to get the creative juices flowing again.  This was made with the Playful Polka Dots Simply Scrappin' Kit in the Summer Mini Catalog.  The flower is made up of self-adhesive die cut images included in the kit.  So quick and easy to put together!  I used a dimensional for a couple of the flowers, then just stamped the wording.
