Happy Halloween!

Punch Art Ghost Card

Happy Friday!  Here's a quick Halloween card with some cute punch art ghosts made using the Owl-Builder Punch. I punched the owl from Whisper White card stock, cut off the feet and turned it upside-down.  Then I used the white gel pen to give the eyes a little personality.  The "Boo!" is from the Spooky Bingo Bits Stamp Set.  This is a great example for using up your leftover scraps of card stock and designer paper to create a colorful background.

Snow Much Fun Shaker Card

Today's project is a fun Shaker Card made with the new Shaker Frames and Mica Flakes found in the Holiday Mini Catalog.   Shaker Frames are double-sided adhesive foam circles that can easily be attached to any card and filled with glitter, beads, etc. 

This is the free card my Stamp Club members made this week using the Snow Much Fun Stamp Set...such cute images!  (See the whole set on page 35 of the Catalog.)

Simply Sent Gift Box

Today's project is a gift box made with the Baja Breeze card in the Everyday Elegance Simply Sent Kit.  The card is scored and cut to create flaps to build the box...it's very easy.   I tied the Cherry Cobbler Quilted Satin Ribbon for the bow and added a little Christmas tag with a greeting from the Petite Pairs Stamp Set.

Spice Cake Thanksgiving Favors

Here's a Thanksgiving favor that can be made in minutes, but is still very sweet! 

Here's how it's made...

Wrap two Hershey Nuggets with a strip of 1" x 3" Very Vanilla Card Stock stamped with the It's a Wrap Holidays "Give Thanks" stamp.  Punch two Scallop Circles out of Spice Cake Designer Paper and adhere them to the inside of a piece of 1 3/8" x 2" Soft Suede Card Stock  with SNAIL Adhesive.  Set the nuggets inside, wrapping the scallop circles around the nuggets and tie with a ribbon to hold them in place.

Deck the Halls Ornament Card

This is the Ornament Card we made at my Christmas Stamp-a-Stack yesterday and I have to tell you it's so much prettier in person!  Cherry Cobbler is a beautiful red and unfortunately the picture just isn't doing it justice.  After punching the ornament, I sponged the edges with Cherry Cobbler ink for definition and it's so pretty!  The decoration on the ornament is made with Deck the Halls Designer Fabric die cut with the Tasteful Trim Die.  I actually made a sticker out of the fabric by attaching Multi-Purpose Adhesive Sheet to the back of the fabric before running it through the Big Shot.  This is a great way to add fabric to your projects!

Glimmery Ornament Card

My Christmas Stamp-a-Stack is today so  I'm short on time, but I thought I'd show you this Christmas card I made with the Ornament Punch and Silver Glimmer Paper.  I really love this clean and simple layout.  I used the Tasteful Trim die to create the glimmery decoration on the ornament and added some Rhinestone Jewels for even more bling!  We'll be making a card with the same layout at the Stamp-a-Stack today with fabric instead of glimmer paper.   I like it even better than this one!

An Aviary Hello

I'm taking a little break from the holidays today :)  This little window card is an old stand-by for me. The layout is similar to a card I did for a Stamp-a-Stack years ago and have used many times.  I changed the size to 3 1/2" x 5" for this card.  The cute owl is from the Aviary Stamp Set and "hello" is from the Pennant Parade set.   To create a window in the card front, I used the 1 1/4" Square Punch and then tied a little Spice Cake Designer Fabric with Linen Thread for the bow.  Very Simple, but cute :)

Snow Swirled Christmas

I was playing around with this pretty Wisteria Wonder pattern from the Flirtatious Specialty Paper and the Snow Swirled Stamp Set.  Wisteria Wonder looks much softer in person than in this picture and I thought it might be pretty with a snowflake.  I used Organza Ribbon and a Rhinestone Jewel to give a soft and sparkly feel.
