Turtle & Co. Get Well

I was needing another Get Well Card and this turtle is still my favorite, so I'm sharing another version of a card I did a few weeks ago with the Turtle & Co. Stamp Set.  This wording is perfect for someone recovering from surgery, so much better than just "get well" in my opinion :)

I colored the image by outlining the squares on his back with the brush tip of the Old Olive marker and then spreading the ink across the entire image with my Aqua Painter...if the color is too light, you can add a little Pear Pizzazz ink with the Aqua Painter too.  This is such a quick way to add color and still get a little dimension.  Remember to use StazOn ink to stamp the image so it doesn't run.  I cut the image out and adhered the shell upside-down with Dimensionals, then slid the head underneath.  It's attached with a Glue Dot.  The flowers were punched from Real Red Card Stock for a pop of color and I added the Basic Pearls to the center of each one.  The texture on the card base was done with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.

Warmest of Wishes

Today's card was made with the Winter Wishes Stitched Felt and Warmest of Wishes hostess stamp set from the Holiday Mini Catalog.  The felt mittens are so cute!!

I punched out the snowflake on the bottom of the Warmest Wishes greeting with the smallest circle from the Owl Builder Punch, then attached it to a small Rhinestone Brad with Liquid Glue.  The mittens were attached by tying the string into a bow and inserting between the tabs on the brad, then I inserted the brad through the punched hole in the wording layer.  To keep the mittens in place, I attached glue dots to the back sides.  I used a white note card for the base.  Let me know if you'd like more information.

5-Petal Flower Poinsettia

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving, mine was very nice...a really great week enjoying my family.  This is my favorite time of year...I love the holidays!!  With the holidays in mind, I created this 3" x 3" Christmas gift card.  So sweet and it literally took me just 5 minutes to make with the 5-Petal Flower Punch.  The poinsettia is made with two Cherry Cobbler and one Old Olive punched flower.  I sponged the edges with the coordinating inks and layered them together with Glue Dots.  The More Mustard center is done with the Boho Blossoms Punch (smallest flower).  I also colored a few Rhinestone Jewels with a permanent marker and added them to the center.  The beautiful sentiment is from the Come to Bethlehem stamp set.

Pennant Parade 3-D Tree Card

This was one of this month's Stamp Club projects.  We used the Pennant Parade Stamp Set and Petite Pennants Builder Punch for the tree on this Christmas card.  We stamped three trees onto Old Olive card stock, punched them out, scored them down the middle and layered them with glue dots to get the 3-D effect.  The "merry" on the tags is also included in the stamp set.  The Cherry Cobbler card stock was dry embossed with the Petals-a-Plenty Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

Spice Cake Wreath

I've seen the wing from the Bird Builder Punch used for so many different things...flames, tulip petals, and now leaves!  I love the versatility :)  I wanted to make a Fall wreath for this card, but since I don't have many leaf stamps, I decided to use a variety of papers in the Spice Cake Designer Series Paper Pack to punch some.  I punched several wings, then folded them in half for dimension.  The first layer is attached to a Shaker Frame (second largest size). Then I layered a few more leaves over them with Liquid Glue.  I tied a double bow with the 1/8" Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon, stamped a couple of tags with the Tiny Tags Stamp Set and punched them out with the Jewelry Tag Punch.  The bow and tags are attached with Glue Dots.

I think this turned out really pretty...I love the double bow and it's not hard at all!  I'll film a video to show you how to make one, but I'm getting ready for Stamp Club today, so it may be tomorrow before it's ready.

Turtle & Co. Belated Birthday

I can't believe November is half over already!  I am way behind getting my birthday cards out this month, so I needed something quick and easy to send my nephew this week.  The Turtle & Co. Stamp Set was perfect!  I stamped the images with StazOn ink, colored them with markers and layered everything together.  So simple, but super cute!

Greeting Card Kids Christmas

This is for all those who like to be a little different :)  I know Pool Party is a very unconventional color for a Christmas card, but I get tired of always using the traditional red and green.  And I'm sure you can tell from my blog design that I love this color :)   I can't get enough of the Greeting Card Kids Stamp Set...this little girl is so cute!  I saw this layout on a card last year and finally got around to trying it.  I really like the Square Lattice Texture and the 4 1/4" square card is definitely my favorite size :)  The image is colored with ink from my markers and a blender pen and then I added Dazzling Diamonds Glitter...love the sparkle!

Warmest of Wishes

This is my Free Card for November.  Place an online order through my Stampin' Up! website anytime in November and I'll send you this thank you card. 

It was made with the Warmest of Wishes Stamp Set...it's the Holiday Mini Catalog Hostess Set.  I inked the image with the River Rock Classic Pad and then colored some of the leaves with Cajun Craze and Early Espresso markers before stamping onto Very Vanilla Card Stock.  I used the 1 1/4" Circle Punch for the center and the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch for the outside of the wreath.  The greeting is from the Petite Pairs Stamp Set and I punched it with the 1 3/8" Circle Punch to adhere under the wreath.  It took two dimensionals stacked together to raise the wreath enough to get this look.  I love the warm feeling the Well Worn Designer Paper and Chantilly Crochet Trim give this sweet thank you card :)
