Outlined Occasions

Today's card was stamped with another image from the Outlined Occasions Stamp Set.  For the hearts I used the I {Heart} Hearts Set.  The colors are Melon Mambo and Lucky Limeade, and for some reason Melon Mambo never looks pink in photos...it really is a pretty, bright pink.  For the strings, I used the 1/8" Organdy Ribbon from the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon & Brad Pack...also a Sale-a-Bration product.  Here's how I made them...I poked a hole through the card stock with my Paper-Piercing Tool to thread the three bottom ends of the strings through and secured them on the back with a small piece of tape, then twisted the ribbon a little on the front side and secured the ends under the hearts with a little more tape.  The bow was tied separately and attached with a Glue Dot.   I love the heart balloons...so cute!

Outlined Occasions Birthday

Good morning!  Today's birthday card was stamped with the Outlined Occasions Stamp Set.  It's one of the Sale-a-Bration sets you can choose free when you spend $50.  I was wanting a fun, masculine birthday card to send my nephew, who turns 19 this week...hope he likes it!  This stamp set is on page 10 of the Sale-a-Bration Brochure...click the link to View it Online.

I added color to the letters with ink from my markers and the Aqua Painter.  To get the rounded edges for the "celebrate" layer, I die-cut Whisper White and Not Quite Navy card stock with the Framelits label die, then cut the top and bottom decorative edges off of each.  I cut the Navy layer in half and attached the rounded ends onto both rounded edges of the white with SNAIL Adhesive.  After cutting the designer papers into 3/8" strips and attaching with SNAIL, I used the narrow tip of my Basic Black marker to create the dotted lines in between each.  The Stamp-a-ma-jig was used to position "it's your day", but I can see that I should have measured to keep my spacing a little more even.  Oh well...next time : )

Valentine Ghirardelli Chocolate Box

This sweet little box was our 3D project for Stamp Club this month.  It holds three Ghriardelli chocolate squares perfectly!  We used the P.S. I Love You stamp set and the 1" and 1 3/8" Circle Punches, Scallop Circle Punch and Small Heart Punch to quickly create the elements to decorate the box...so easy!

Fresh Vintage

For this card, I added color directly onto the floral stamp with Calypso Coral and Lucky Limeade markers.  I colored the flowers first, then stamped off once for a softer color and then added the Lucky Limeade ink to the leaves before stamping the pretty floral image onto Whisper White Card Stock.  I used the Framelits Labels Collection Dies for the layers and sponged all the edges with Calyso Coral ink.  To make the bow, I held the two colors of ribbon together and tied a double bow.  Looking at the finished product, I'm not sure I'd use both colors for this card again, but I was so excited about the organdy ribbon, I couldn't resist : )  The sentiment is from the Apothecary Art Stamp Set.

Would you believe I've had the Calypso Coral Ink Pad and marker since last July and had never used them?!  the plastic wrap was still on the ink pad :-o  I'm so glad Stampin' Up! introduced the Everyday Enchantment designs or I wouldn't have known how much I love this new In Color...it's really soft and pretty when stamped off.  It's a nice substitute for the retired Cameo Coral.

Valentine Treats

Here's a really easy idea for cute Valentine Treats.  I filled the 1" x 8" Cellophane Bags with Conversation Hearts and added a simple topper stamped with the P.S. I Love You Set.  The images in this set are made to coordinate with the 1" and 1 3/8" Circle Punches, which made creating the layers fast and simple!  I used the Small Heart Punch to add hearts to the centers of a few of them.  Dimensionals were used to layer the punched circles to the Scallop Circle and I used a glue dot for the hearts.  A cute and simple way to say Happy Valentine's Day : )

Apothecary Art Birthday Card

So pretty!  I love these Framelits Dies!!  They're from the Labels Collection and they coordinate perfectly with the Apothecary Art Stamp Set.  The graduated sizes are awesome for layering...and everyone knows I'm a "layer freak" : )  I used the Attic Boutique Designer Series Papers from the Occasions Mini Catalog for the background and larger label. To bring out the rose color in the pretty floral pattern, I added color to the White Baker's Twine with a Regal Rose Marker, and then punched flowers with the Boho Blossoms Punch, crumpled them together and added a Rhinestone Brad to hold them together.

Anniversary Card/Keepsake

What a fun day!  My daughter was home from college yesterday for the holiday, so it was one of the rare occasions when we get to stamp together : )  She gave me permission to share this card she made for her boyfriend.  It's sort of a combination card/scrapbook page to celebrate their first year together.  She used the Framelits Hearts dies and P.S. I Love You Stamp Set along with the Adorning Accents Embossing Folders for the texture on the large heart. 

I helped her with the layout and cutting, but she did everything else herself.  It turned out really nice, and I'm sure he'll love that it was handmade by her with love : )
