Paisley Petals

Today is the final day for the Summer Smooches promotion and the Occasions Mini Catalog.  The cute Baja Breeze Twitterpated Designer Button used on today's card is in the Occasions Mini Catalog and the Bright Blossoms Stamp Set (Summer Smooches Promotion) won't be available again until June. 

The stem was inked with Pear Pizzazz Classic Ink, a retiring In Color, only available until May 31st (while supplies last). The Paisley Petals Designer Series Papers were the inspiration for the colors on this card...they're so pretty!  But, they are also only available while supplies last!

Summer Smooches Petite Purse

This was my 3D Stamp Club Project for this month.  It's the pretty Summer Smooches Designer Paper die-cut with the Petite Purse Die.  I love how easy this die is to assemble, and it's so cute!  For the clasp, I punched a couple of flowers with the Boho Blossoms Punch and added a Summer Smooches Fabric Brad, then attached the finished flower just above the tab on the front of the purse flap with a glue dot.  This way, it can still be opened and closed easily. 

I love these brads, and apparently so does everyone else!  They were an exclusive item only available this month, but I'm sorry to say they've completely sold out and are no longer available.  But you can still get the Summer Smooches Designer Papers and Petite Purse Bigz L Die until April 30th.  After that, they won't be available until the new catalog is released in June.

Flight of the Butterfly

Today's card is a CASE "Copy and Share Everything" of a sample in the catalog.  This is the Flight of the Butterfly stamp set, one of the many retiring sets that I'm sad to see go...I love it!  Get it before May 31st.  After that, this set will no longer be available. 

Two of the accessories used for this card are also retiring...the 12x12 Bashful Blue Textured Card Stock and the Butterfly Punch. These items are only available WHILE SUPPLIES LAST!  Click here to order online.

Messages For Mom

Sorry it's been so long since my last post.  Sadly, my family has suffered a sudden and unexpected loss this past week and I needed to put everything else aside.  Just trying to get back into the swing of things, so I did a quick card this morning with the Messages for Mom stamp set (one of the retiring stamp sets) and the Baja Breeze 3/8" Pleated Satin Ribbon.  The ribbon is in the Occasions Mini Catalog on page 12 and is only available until April 30th.  The stamp set will be available until May 31st. 

I inked the flower image with Baja Breeze ink first and then I added more color directly onto the stamp with Riding Hood Red, Indigo Island, Lucky Limeade markers.  I used a Blender Pen to spread the Island Indigo ink to the inside of the large flower to give it a little color.

Bordering on Romance

Today's project is a Mother's Day card I made using the Bordering on Romance Stamp Set from the Occasions Mini Catalog (page 11).  I used an Aqua Painter with Not Quite Navy and Pear Pizzazz ink to color the flowers and added some Basic Pearls.

I typically steer clear of line art images, because I tend to be a little perfectionistic about -- well, EVERYTHING -- but especially coloring in images ;-)  I received this set free a few months ago, so I decided to go for it.  And...it's definitely not perfect, but I do like the color combination : )

Bright Blossoms

The Bright Blossoms Stamp Set is becoming one of my favorites!  It's so easy to create quick cards with a pop of color...I love these images.  This is a white note card that I added a couple of layers to.  I inked the stamp by coloring directly onto it with the Real Red, Basic Black and Old Olive Stampin' Write Markers, then stamped the image onto a layer of Whisper White Card Stock.  The tulip was stamped in Real Red ink and then cut out and added with a glue dot.  So simple!

Bright Blossoms is one of the Summer Smooches items available this month...and then not again until the new Catalog is released.  If you want it now, be sure to order yours before April 30th!
