Floral District Note Pad Holder

I made this note pad holder using our clear-mount stamp case and the Floral District Designer Series papers.  A sheet of designer paper (7" x 10 3/4") will slide right inside the plastic cover.  This was the Convention gift I made for my upline and roommate.  I used the Simply Scored Diagonal Plate with my Scoring Tool to create the pretty designer envelope...it's so easy with the instructions that are included!  I adhered a contrasting designer paper to the inside and then attached a small note pad with some Sticky Strip and added one of my Stampin' Up! pens.   Very easy!

Summer Silhouettes

Whew!!!  This month has been really busy!  I just returned from Convention in Salt Lake City (it was awesome as always!) and I wanted to share one of the cards I made to  swap.  Summer Silhouettes is one of my favorite new stamp sets because it's so easy to stamp a colorful bunch of flowers quickly.  The images are really easy to position, so no stamp-a-ma-jig required : ) 

The pretty decorative border along the bottom edge was die-cut with the Finishing Touches Edgelits, and then I used the Paper-Piercing Tool and mat to create a couple of rows of paper piercing just above it.  1/2" Very Vanilla Seam Binding was scrunched right onto a strip of SNAIL Adhesive applied just above the paper-piercing and then I added the bow with a Glue Dot.  Very pretty!

Busy July
