Moving Forward

One more Moving Forward card...I couldn't resist!  This is the card my Stamp Club made this month.  I love the colors!!  Soft Suede, Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler, I think they look so nice together!  Everything about this card, with the exception of the stamped image, was CASE'd from another card I saw online created by Theresa...sorry I don't have her last name.  But I think it's darling!!

Tip:  For stamps like these in the Moving Forward set with both an image and a sentiment...before assembling, I cut the wording apart from the image and mount it on the side of my wood block for more versatility.  That way I can use the image or wording separately on any project without having to mask one or the other.  I do the same with the label.

Ghoulish Googlies Bundle

Last night at Stamp Club we made a super quick & easy Halloween treat bag using the Ghoulish Googlies Designer Kit.  It comes with:

• 20 printed double-sided tags (20 ea. of 2 designs)
• 10 glassine bags with die-cut edges (3"x 5"x 1 1/2")
• 50 adhesive-backed googly eyes (ea. 5 mm)
• 10 pieces of Pumpkin Pie/Whisper White Baker's Twine (8" ea.)

For our club project last night, we made the bag with the spider tag...it's sooo cute! Mary Fish, a very talented fellow demonstrator, jazzed up the round tag by adding the Scallop Circle and Bitty Banners Framelit and embossing the bag with the Spider Web embossing folder, I love it!!

Moving Forward

 I love this card!  I CASE'd it from our Stampin' Success magazine.  I think this is the only image in the Moving Forward set that I haven't shown yet.  I just love this little blimp! 

I used the brush tip of the markers to add the different colors (Lucky Limeade, Pool Party & Calypso Coral) directly onto the stamp before stamping onto Whisper White card stock.  I can see I should have added a little more Lucky Limeade to the bottom edge, but that's one of the things that makes it handmade ; ) 

Don't you love that soft Pool Party color behind the blimp?!  It started off as Whisper White card stock.  I filled my Stampin' Spritzer with rubbing alcohol and then added about 20-25 drops of Pool Party Ink Refill, shook well to mix and spritzed the card stock to get the beautiful soft sky color...I love it!!! 

The clouds were punched from the Cupcake Builder Punch and the wording was die-cut using the Bitty Banners Framelits.  The scallop border along the bottom was die-cut with the Large Scallop Edgelits.

Wicked Cool Sucker

Here's a fun Halloween treat idea.  I borrowed the idea from one of my favorite Stamp Club projects (shown below) using the Wicked Cool stamp set, except I used the new Howlstooth & Scaringbone Designer paper from the Holiday Catalog.  I just love these witches boots and last year's project was such a hit, I decided it needed to be used again : )  The cool Striped Satin Ribbon is also found in the Holiday Catalog. 

I'm working on the projects for my upcoming Halloween Treats Class and this sucker holder might just make the cut ; )   This is last year's Stamp Club project...

More Moving Forward

I wanted to show you another image from the Moving Forward set.  The sailboat is perfect for a more masculine look.  This set has the versatility of being used for both feminine and masculine projects...I love that! 

I stamped the image twice, once in Midnight Muse and then again in Cherry Cobbler so I could cut out a couple of the elements to add some dimension.  I attached them using Glue Dots to slightly raise them and then embossed the Sahara Sand layer with the Stripes Embossing Folder.  This was definitely a quick and easy card!

Fashionable Hearts Baby Card

The new Sweet Essentials Stamp Set was used for the sentiment on today's card.  The  Fashionable Hearts and Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslits along with the Stripes Embossing Folder were used with the Big Shot to create lots of texture on this darling baby card. 

I've been so inspired by other demonstrators lately!  Today's card is my version of a card created by Celia Cawthon.  I changed the colors, embossing folder and sentiment to make it my own, but I love this layout...it's so sweet!

I used Bashful Blue, River Rock and Very Vanilla card stock for a baby boy, but you could exchange the blue for So Saffron or Pink Pirouette and it would still be beautiful!

Daydream Medallions

Daydream Medallions is one of several stamp sets we received in our Stampin' Up! Convention bags this year and I think it's absolutely beautiful!  I saw a similar card sample while I was there and couldn't wait to create my own version.  I used Shimmery White card stock for this card, which is hard to see in this photo, but gives this a very elegant look.
