Bridal Shower Invitations

Today I'm sharing the bridal shower invitations I made for my son's upcoming wedding using the Daydreams Jumbo Stampin' Around Wheel and Pool Party Card Stock.  The wheel is actually much wider than what you see here, but I liked having just a touch of the pattern on this.  I typed up the information and printed it onto the Pool Party Card Stock before cutting to size.  The ribbon is our retired 5/8" Black Satin Ribbon. 

I blocked out my sister's information for privacy, that's what the smear is ;-)

I'm sure many of you who have had a child get married know all too well that everything in your life becomes about the wedding : )  It's a very exciting time around here, but also time-consuming with all the planning and events, which is why my posts have been fewer lately and you're seeing a lot of what I've been working on for the wedding.  Hopefully, you're not tired of it yet...thanks for understanding and continuing to visit  : )

Vintage Gift Box

I'm so excited!!!  I created my own patterned paper for this elegant gift box using the My Digital Studio 2 Free Trial!  I am VERY technologically challenged so this is a real thrill for me!!  I used this image from the Friends 24/7 stamp set digital images (included in the MDS software), copied and pasted it into this pattern and printed it onto Pool Party Card Stock...how cool is that?!! 

I used the Apothecary Accents Framelit to make the flap and added Pool Party Seam Binding, a Vintage Faceted Designer Button and a Rhinestone Jewel for a pretty accent.  The box is held closed with Velcro fasteners under the flap. 

I made these for my "soon-to-be" daugher-in-law's bridesmaids gifts.  Her wedding colors are black, ivory & Tiffany blue, and she loves the vintage look, so I think these will be perfect!

Dazzling Snow Flurry

I think the Snow Flurry Die is one of our prettiest!  I shared a similar card last week using Shimmer Mist to add shimmer, but I wanted to see if I could get even more sparkle, so I adhered an adhesive sheet to the card stock before die-cutting, then removed the backing and sprinkled the die-cut snowflake with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.  I finished it with a Vintage Faceted Designer Button and a Rhinestone Jewel.  I love the sparkle!

I know it's only September, but I've learned that if I don't start thinking Christmas early, my cards will never get made in time : )

Wish Big Birthday Card

Here is the third Quick & Easy Card for this week's class.  I created the rainbow ice cream scoops with the Cupcake Builder Punch and Brights Designer Series Papers, and used the Petite Pennants Builder Punch and Square Lattice Embossing Folder for the cone.  So easy!  The stamping is on the inside..."Wish Big" from the Word Play stamp set.

Just Believe

Bootiful Occasions Candy Bar Holder

Today's project is a fun Halloween Candy Bar Holder made with the Bootiful Occasions stamp set.  I wanted to carry the polka dots on the witch's boots into the background, so I punched different sized circles in Lucky Limeade, Wisteria Wonder and Pumpkin Pie card stock and attached them to the Basic Black wrapper.  I think it turned out pretty cute : )

Snow Flurry Christmas Card

Check out this beautiful new Snow Flurry Die...I love the 3D effect!!  This is one of the great new products you'll find in our Holiday Catalog on page 14.  I also used the elegant Candlelight Christmas Specialty Designer Paper (pg. 4) with Greetings of the Season stamp set (pg. 8).  This card is simple and elegant...and very easy to mass produce for all those lucky people on your Christmas card list! 

After the card was assembled, I sprayed it with Champagne Shimmer Mist to add a subtle shimmer.

September's Free Card

This is my thank you card for September. I used the Daydream Medallions and Lacy & Lovely stamp sets, Floral Frames Framelits, Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons and Midnight Muse Designer Series Paper to make this elegant card. 

There are three folds to this card...the top and bottom of the card front fold together.  The top flap folds down and slides behind the flower on the bottom flap to hold the card closed.  I love the faceted button!  It's so pretty all by itself, but I went ahead and added a Rhinestone Jewel to the center for a little added sparkle.
