Bridal Shower Favors

I'm so happy with the way the bridal shower favors turned out!  I love these beautiful flowers made with the Fancy Flower Punch...very pretty!!!  The lid for the box was made with the Scallop Square Die, then embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots folder before assembling.  I cut and scored Basic Black card stock for the bottom of the box.  We filled these with a delicious chocolate truffle for each of the guests.

I'm out of town this week, so I'll have to create and download the instructions when I return next week.  The instructions for the Fancy Flowers came from Kay Sha, a very creative fellow demonstrator.  Click on the link for her Fancy Flower tutorial.

Elements of Style Invitations

These are the Rehearsal Dinner invitations I made for the wedding.  They're really simple, but I think elegant, with the Elements of Style stamp set on Very Vanilla card stock with Black StazOn ink.  I layered them with Basic Black card stock and stamped the envelopes to match.

Season of Sweets Kit

What a pretty and simple way to package a sweet treat!  The Season of Sweets Kit includes enough supplies for 12 individual gifts.  I used the Snowflake Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamp to make the cookies.  I added a little Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine, Dazzling Details, and a sentiment from the Petite Pairs stamp set to step up my treat bag a little.  Each treat envelope has a cellophane window to display a delicious treat!

You'll notice the cookie is a bit small for the package ; )  I was in such a hurry the evening I was making them that I didn't notice that the balls of cookie dough I rolled weren't big enough for the entire stamped image.  As you can see in the picture, the envelope has plenty of room to hold a bigger cookie : )

Snowflake Soiree

Today's Christmas card was stamped with the Snowflake Soiree stamp set.  I love the big beautiful snowflakes and elegant style of this set.  This is the card we made at Stamp Club last night.  It's heat embossed with Pewter Embossing Powder and embellished with a Vintage Faceted Designer Button and Pearls Basic Jewels. 

This is the first project I've made using the new Heat Tool and I really like that it's quieter than the old one.  It also has two settings, one for embossing and the other for drying ink, which I really like.  Nice improvements to our old heat tool : )

Noteworthy Thank You's

Today's thank you card is one of a set of 20 that I made as a gift for my son's fianceè.  The wording is from one of my favorite retired stamp sets, Noteworthy.  I created the decorative edge with the Large Scallop Edgelits and I used the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack with Pool Party Designer Paper for the flowers.  I love this clean and simple look! 

On a personal note -- Sorry my posts have been sporadic lately.  Life has a way of throwing things off track :-/  In addition to the wedding planning (which has been a happy & fun diversion), I have also been dealing with some difficult health issues, which had me down last week.  Just wanted you all to know I haven't fallen off the planet and hope to be back on track in the weeks ahead : )
