Love & Laughter

One last wedding project, and then I promise to get on with the holidays : )  This card was made with the pretty Love & Laughter stamp set.  I stamped the cake image three times, then cut one out, then cut just the two lower layers and then the bottom layer.  I stacked them together with Glue Dots for subtle dimension.  I topped the cake with the flowers by popping them up with half a Dimensional.

Wedding Favors

Saturday was my son's wedding and everything was perfect!  It was a beautiful wedding and so much fun!!  These are the favors we made for all the guests.  The boxes were made with the retired Matchbox die and I embossed the covers with the Lacy Brocade embossing folder from the Holiday Mini Catalog...it was perfect for their vintage style wedding.  Their engagement pictures were punched with the Extra-Large Oval and then mounted inside the oval Designer Frame.  The flowers were created with the Boho Blossoms Punch, plus the flower from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack. 

I wish these pictures had turned out a little better...after assembling 200 of these, I needed to take the picture and get on with all the other wedding preparations ; )  Before adding the photo, I spritzed the finished boxes with Champagne Shimmer Mist, which is hard to see, but it added beautiful shimmer. 

There were many steps to creating these, but I had many helpers...thanks to my mother, my new daughter-in-law and her mother and aunt, and my son for all your help : )  They were filled with delicious chocolates for each of their wedding guests.

This is the happy couple.  It's the only wedding picture I managed to snap on my phone (thus the poor quality).  Such a beautiful couple...I couldn't be happier for them!!

Believe Glimmer Card

Creating your own colored glimmer paper is easy!  I added color to the Silver Glimmer Paper with a sponge dauber and my Classic Ink colors.  For this sparkling Christmas card, I used Not Quite Navy and Lucky Limeade ink.  This is so pretty in person!   Add the color to the glimmer paper before die-cutting the Snow Flurry snowflake or after...I added it after to cover less surface area ; )  For faster drying, you can use the low setting on the Heat Tool.  The embossed snowflakes were done with the Northern Flurry embossing folder.

Stylin' Snowfolk

This is a card I made for the Christmas in July swap at Convention last summer, and I just realized I never shared it.  I stamped it with the Stylin' Snowfolk set...so cute!  It was surprisingly easy to stamp all the elements free hand...I didn't use the Stamp-a-ma-jig for the snowman at all!  I used the  Aqua Painter with Bashful Blue ink to add soft color to the snowman and sponged the edges of the tag as well.

My inspiration came from the samples on page 16 of the catalog.  I especially like the smoke coming from his pipe : )  It doesn't look like it in this picture, but the red is Razzleberry Ripple.  I stamped the hat and scarf and then cut them out to pop them up with dimensionals.
