As part of our 25-year anniversary celebration, we're bringing back some of our favorite stamp images from the last quarter century and combining them into 12 sets, which will release-one set per month-during 2013. 

Even better, along with some great classic images, each "Best of" set will also include a never-before-seen image!

Some things to remember:

• All Best of stamp sets will include 3-5 images, including a never-before seen image, and will be priced at $14.95.

Magnificent Maple

A "Quick & Easy" card for Fall stamped with the Magnificent Maple single stamp.  I love this leaf in beautiful Fall colors...Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze. After stamping the leaves, I used a Blender Pen to blend and soften the ink a little and add a little depth to the edges of the leaves.  Magnificent Maple is on page 18 of the Holiday Catalog.

Chalk Talk

Today's pretty note card was created using the Chalk Talk stamp set with two beautiful colors...Soft Sky and Smoky Slate.  It was the creation of a fellow demonstrator, Julie Davison.  She made hers in Crisp Cantaloupe and Soft Suede...I simply changed the color combination for mine.  It's such a nice layout, it would be pretty in many different color combinations.  The Chalk Talk stamp set has a coordinating set of framelits.  The set and framelits are also sold in a bundle at a 15% discount!  Check it out on page 12 of the catalog (clear bundle #132730, wood bundle #132731).

Modern Medley Gift Box

My Gift Bow Bigz Die just arrived and I couldn't wait to try it out!  This gift box was so easy to embellish.  I added the Modern Medley Designer Paper to the sides of our Kraft Gift Box and then used the coordinating polka dot pattern paper for the bow. The die makes bows in 2 sizes, the large bow measures 3-3/4" x 1-3/4".  All it takes to assemble the bow, is a few glue dots and it's done!!

Single Stamps for the Holidays

A new, holiday-themed collection of single stamps is now available! The holidays will be here before you know it, and these holiday-themed single stamps may be just what the budget-conscious stamper needs. There are eight different stamps to choose from, six of which coordinate with Framelits dies or punches.

Fine Print:

• These won't be sent in our typical cases or packaging; they'll be packaged in cello bags. If you'd like a case for your stamp, you can buy our Clear-Mount Stamp Cases that come in packs of four (item 119105).

• This offer is available for clear-mount stamps only.

• The stamps won't come with a Clear-Mount Block, and you'll need to buy a block separately if you don't already have one. The recommended block sizes can be found on the flyer. 

• These holiday-themed stamps are only available through January 31st, so get them while you can!

Halloween Happiness Treat

Today's project is a cute Halloween treat idea.  It's a Chiclet's Gum Holder...here's what it looks like on the inside...

I used the Halloween Happiness single stamp to decorate the belly band.  Getting three different colors on this single stamp was pretty quick and easy.  Before stamping the image, I inked the stamp with the Pumpkin Pie ink pad, then used a Blender Pen to remove the Pumpkin Pie ink from the stems and leaves before adding Old Olive ink to them with the brush tip of my Stampin' Write Marker.  Since it is a darker color, I used the brush tip of my Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker to add color to the wording directly over the Pumpkin Pie ink.

Pleasant Poppies

I ordered the Pleasant Poppies background stamp a couple of months ago and finally had a chance to play with it.  I'm not much of an artist when it comes to watercoloring or painting, but I think these poppies are made for watercoloring, so I gave it a shot ; )  First, I heat embossed the image and sentiment with White Embossing Powder and then added Bermuda Bay ink with the Aqua Painter to the flowers and stems.  Like I said, I'm no artist...but I still think it turned out kind of cool looking : )

Flower Shop Thinking of You

A quick & easy Thinking of You card stamped with an image from the Flower Shop Stamp Set.  This is a one-layer card stamped in Old Olive, Pacific Point and Bermuda Bay.  I added some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to the centers of each flower with the 2-Way Glue Pen.  I can't wait to try this in a bunch of different color combinations.
