Lacy & Lovely

The Lacy & Lovely Stamp Set is one of the many retiring stamp sets that I am sad to see go.  The pretty images coordinate with our Circle Punches, making it really easy to punch and layer for dimension.  My card today was CASE'd from another demonstrator, Mary Fish. I really like her card and this layout, but in an effort to "make it my own" I switched one of the colors and added Rhinestones instead of Pearls.   Just FYI...another retiring item used on this card is the Large Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

The New Catalog!!!

Last night, Stampin' Up! had their Catalog Premier for demonstrators at theaters across the country!  I attended the Catalog Premiere here in Kansas City and it was awesome!!  I'm so happy to be able to show you (at least) the cover of the new Stampin' Up! Catalog!!!   I'm not allowed to show the inside just yet.  However, I also received the fun new Work of Art stamp set!  I'll be sharing projects created with it very soon!! 

I can't wait for you to see all of the awesome new stamp sets, embellishments, ribbons, dies, In Colors and more!  And my absolute favorite new product....the Stampin' Blendabilities Markers!!!!!  They are alcohol based markers and after seeing them demonstrated last night, they look so easy to use!!  It will be super easy to create beautiful shading and dimension with these new markers and they're even recommended to be used on our Whisper White card stock...less expensive than the watercolor paper!  I CANNOT wait to get my hands on them!!!

I also counted seven alphabet stamp sets in Photopolymer, making it so easy to create your own unique words and phrases!

Fabulous Florets Thank You

Great news!  Thanks to my awesome husband, my computer is up and running again!!  So happy I'm able to share today's Fabulous Florets Thank You Card with you!  This is one of the Retiring Stamp Sets.  This pretty stamp set is only available while supplies last or until June 4th, and today is the final day to get FREE SHIPPING!  

For today's card, I inked the stamp using the Pink Pirouette ink pad, then added color to the leaves and flower with the Wild Wasabi and Melon Mambo markers.  After inking, I used a Sponge Dauber (also retiring) on the the flower portion of the stamp to create some shading and dimension before stamping the image.  I love it!  I added a few of the smallest Pearls to the center of the flower and then stamped the Peaceful Petals sentiment.

Computer Crashed!

It's been a very rough week...at least from a technology standpoint.  Last weekend, my blog server experienced some kind of attack, which wouldn't  allow me to log in and access it.  It's been working sporadically all week, making everything difficult!  And then Tuesday night my computer crashed!!  My "computer guy" (i.e. my husband) is working to restore all my files and get it back up and running.  In the meantime, I am only able to use my very old laptop...which has limited capabilities.  I'm unable to access my photos, files, etc. so you won't be seeing projects from me for the next couple of days...sorry about that :-/  I will continue to post the updated Retired Lists each day and hope to be back to posting projects by Monday!
