Ornamental Pine

The Christmas season is easily my favorite time of year, and the new Ornamental Pine stamp set brings back memories of the smell of fresh pine and the quiet stillness of winter.  All the images and sentiments I need to complete a full card are included in this one set.  It's perfect for making lovely traditional Christmas cards.

This card is so beautiful in person...it's hard to see in the photo, but it sparkles with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter over the pine needes and pine cone.  To add a pop of color against the Mossy Meadow pine, I cut Cherry Cobbler 1" Sheer Linen Ribbon to about 3/8" and tied it into a knot.

The Holiday Catalog is here!!!  I'm so excited about this catalog!  It's loaded with beautiful new stamps and accessories for all of the holidays...everything from Halloween through Valentine's Day!!   I have so many favorites...it was hard to choose which ones I HAD to have ; )  This is definitely one of them...the Festival of Trees stamp set and coordinating Tree Punch.

I love this card and the color combination!  Blackberry Bliss, Soft Sky and Smoky Slate were used to create this cool, contemporary Christmas card.  (See the supply list at the bottom of this post.)

Mixed Bunch Thank You

 

A super quick and easy thank you card created with one of the flower images from the Mixed Bunch and the And Many More stamp sets.  I stamped the flower in Coastal Cabana and Pear Pizzazz inks, then punched them out with my 1" Circle Punch and added a Rhinestone to the center.  I used the Blendabilities markers to color my rhinestones...so pretty!!!

I have had requests from my long-distance customers for a Make 'N Take Card Kit, and I am very happy to offer one!  These are the four card designs and kit details...

Card Kit Includes: 

• Pre-cut & scored Card Stock & Envelopes for all four cards 
• Embellishments (ribbons, buttons, pearls, rhinestones, etc.)
• Pre-punched elements*
• Step-by-step instructions & supply list with project photos

Pre-cut supplies are packaged separately in clear cellophane envelopes, one for each of the four projects.

 

*Please Note...Kits do not include stamps, stamped images (per Stampin' Up! policy) or adhesives.  Since the tree and wreath images cannot be stamped for you, they will not be punched or die-cut.  You will receive the card stock needed to stamp and punch or die-cut these elements.

It's a Boy!!!

Oh Happy Day for sure!!!  We received exciting news this week!  Our very first grandbaby is a boy!!  I'm not sure why, but knowing the gender of the baby makes it seem even more real...We're going to be grandparents!!  I'm so excited that I just had to do something, sooo... I made a card : )  

Aren't these polka dots fun!!  I embossed a piece of white card stock with the Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder and then punched 3/4" circles from Night of Navy, Marina Mist and Old Olive card stock to adhere over the polka dots.  I love that they're perfectly spaced!  

I used the Starburst Sayings Bundle (includes the Starburst Sayings Stamp Set & Framelits) to stamp the image twice.  First with Marina Mist and then again onto Night of Navy card stock with VersaMark Ink and embossed it in white.  I cut the letters from "Happy" and adhered them over the "Happy" on the starburst layer with Liquid Glue.   "It's a boy" is from  A Dozen Thoughts stamp set.

Now it's time to go shopping for something darling to put with my card ; )

Holiday Catalog SNEAK PEEK!

Today's Christmas card features the Wonderful Wreath Stamp Set and Framelits coming in the new Holiday Catalog on August 28th!  It's a beautiful stamp set and I love how easy it is to die-cut all the images with the coordinating framelits.  As soon as I saw the sample pictured in the catalog (pg. 9), I couldn't wait to CASE it!!  The word "Joy" is so beautiful, especially die-cut from our Gold Foil.
