So cute!! I can't even begin to tell you how excited I'm getting for our first grandchild to arrive, so it was my pleasure to create the invitations for my daughter-in-law's baby shower : )
Here are the details...
The punch art sailboat was created with the 2" Circle Punch. I punched approximately 3/4" into a strip of Night of Navy card stock for the half circle. I used 1" and 1 1/4" Square Punches for the sails. After punching the squares, I cut them diagonally to the size I wanted. The sentiment was printed onto Bashful Blue card stock (retired) and then cut to size and embossed with the Large Polka Dots Embossing Folder. Then I used the Circle Framelits to create the round window. For the flag, I notched a 1/4" strip of Real Red card stock using the 1" Square Punch. I used the Hearts Border Punch, which gave me four hearts each punch...nice when you're making 30 invitations! All of the shower information was printed on the computer and then added to the inside of the card. Finished size is 4 7/8" square, so it would fit into 5" square envelopes.
This would also make a nice baby card!!
