Spoil Yourself Today

 

Sorry I haven't posted much this week.  I've been busy creating projects for this month's classes and working to get my taxes together...ughh!  Thankfully, it's Friday : )  Today's project is one of the "Quick & Easy Cards" I  created for this month's Free Stamp Night  (Tuesday, March 18th).  To create this cute little purse, I used the Cupcake Builder Punch and some circle punches.  Punches make it so easy to create this fun birthday card in a hurry!  The pretty Real Red patterned paper is one of several pretty patterns in the Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper Stack.   Check it out on page 33 of the Occasions Catalog.

Petite Petals

Today's happy card is cute, quick and easy!  I used the Petite Petals Stamp Set and coordinating Petite Petals Punch to quickly create these cheerful flowers, along with this fun sentiment from the Yippee Skippy Stamp Set and our Notecards & Envelopes (pack of 20 for just $5.95).  

After inking the sentiment stamp with Pumpkin Pie ink, I added black ink to the other words with the brush tip of the Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker before stamping.  I like how it highlights the word "happy" : )

Peaceful Petals

Peaceful Petals is a beautiful floral stamp set currently offered in the Occasions Catalog.  The delicate line art images lend themselves to being colored in...especially nice when watercolored using the Aqua Painter or Blender Pen...or simply stamped as I've done on today's card.  I think these images are so striking when stamped in darker colors, like Midnight Muse.  The sentiment from A Dozen Thoughts stamp set was heat embossed with White Embossing Powder.

Happenings Simply Created Card Kit

Today's birthday card was created using the Happenings Simply Created Card Kit in the Occasions Catalog (pg.31).  I used the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set and coordinating Bitty Banners Framelits to die-cut the stamped sentiment and the Pistachio Pudding polka dot flag.  All papers and embellishments for this card are included in the kit!

Tuesday is Free Stamp Night

Watercolor Wonder Petals Card

 

So pretty! Today's card was created with the Watercolor Wonder Designer Series Papers and Petite Petals Punch.  I love the subtle colors and beautiful patterns in this DSP!!  This sweet card was so easy to make.  I used our note cards and envelopes and just added the striped pattern paper to the lower half of the card front, Smoky Slate card stock to the upper section and punched the flowers from the floral patterned papers included in the pack.  The sentiment is from the Happy Watercolor stamp set.

Summer Silhouettes Thank You

My project for today is this sweet little Thank You card stamped with the Summer Silhouettes stamp set.  The pretty floral images are separate from the stem and leaf images, making it really easy to stamp them in different colors.  I used the sentiment from the Gifts of Kindness stamp set and stamped the splattered effect with an image from the Gorgeous Grunge set.  This was an easy card to make and have on hand for when I need a quick thank you card.

Gorgeous Grunge

The Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set is great for creating cards that are gender and age neutral, which means I can get a lot of use of out it!  Today's card was made for my uncle who is recovering from a recent stroke (thankfully, he's expected to make a full recovery).  I really like that this card is simple and easy to make and just by changing the sentiment, it could be used for lots of occasions, for young or old, male or female!

Love these cheerful, happy colors too...Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry, & Wild Wasabi : )   After inking the stamp, I stamped off once before stamping the image onto the card front to soften it a little.  Simple and quick!!
