Bridal Shower Invitation & Favors

It's been a busy summer around here!  My youngest is getting married in December so the wedding planning has been in full swing, trying to get as much done as we can before she heads back to school in a couple of weeks. Her first bridal shower was held last weekend and I was in charge of invitations and favors. Label Love

A clean and simple wedding card made with the Label Love Stamp Set, Artisan Label Punch and Quatrefancy Specialty Paper.  I inked the stamp with my Pool Party ink pad, then colored directly onto the stamp with Island Indigo before stamping the label.  This little note card came together in no time!

Papaya Collage

Three beautiful new colors were used on today's card...Soft Sky, Smoky Slate and Baked Brown Sugar.  I used the Papaya Collage Stamp Set and the Loving Thoughts set for the greeting.

Elements of Style Fancy Favor

Elements of Style is a retiring stamp set that easily adds beautiful elegance to any project. This Fancy Favor Gift Bag was die-cut and stamped with Basic Gray ink.  I love coordinating the tissue paper and gift bag by stamping it with the same image.

Just Believe

Just Believe is one of my favorite retiring stamp sets.  I love the simple elegance of this note card.  I added color to the stamp by inking it first with the Old Olive ink pad, then removing the ink from just the flowers and berries with a Blender Pen, and adding Raspberry Ripple ink with a marker before stamping.  I cut it out and popped it up with Dimensionals.

This is my card for this week's sketch challenge over at Chic Challenges.  I decided to turn the sketch sideways and use the Needlepoint Border Embossing Folder to create subtle scalloped edges...this is easily one of my favorite embossing folders! The Papillon Potpourri Stamp Set and coordinating Elegant Butterfly Punch create beautiful butterflies with lots of dimension.  

I also used several retiring items...Baha Breeze 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Tiny Tags Stamp Set and coordinating Jewelry Tag Punch.  Retiring stamp sets are available until June 3rd, but accessories are only available while supplies last.  Get them before they're gone!!

As part of our 25-year anniversary celebration, we're bringing back some of our favorite stamp images from the last quarter century and combining them into 12 sets, which will release-one set per month-during 2013. 

Even better, along with some great classic images, each "Best of" set will also include a never-before-seen image!

Some things to remember:

• All Best of stamp sets will include 3-5 images, including a never-before seen image, and will be priced at $14.95.
• While we are releasing just one Best of stamp set per month (with a new theme each month), all of the Best of sets will be available until March 31, 2014.
• A new flyer will be released every month for each new Best of set.
• All Best of stamp sets are available in Clear-Mount only.

Forever and Always

I took a little time to play with my 1 1/4" Two-Tone Ribbon last week.  It has such a pretty shimmer and just made me think "wedding".   I made two wedding cards, one in the Basic Gray/Basic Black and the other in Pink Pirouette/Rose Red.  I love that it has a lot of body to it, which makes it easy to create beautiful bows without a lot of trial and error.  It's on page 13 of the Spring Catalog.  The sentiment is heat embossed with Silver Embossing Powder...very elegant.

Loving Thoughts Wedding Card

I love the Core'dinations Card Stock.  I used it for the embossed layer on today's wedding card.  It was embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder and then distressed with a Sanding Block to achieve this beautiful look.

Love & Laughter

One last wedding project, and then I promise to get on with the holidays : )  This card was made with the pretty Love & Laughter stamp set.  I stamped the cake image three times, then cut one out, then cut just the two lower layers and then the bottom layer.  I stacked them together with Glue Dots for subtle dimension.  I topped the cake with the flowers by popping them up with half a Dimensional.
