Seasonally Scattered

Another beautiful Seasonally Scattered "Thanks" card.  This stamp packs such a "wow factor" simply by adding different colors of ink before stamping the image.  For today's card, I inked the stamp with Hello Honey first, then randomly added Cajun Craze and Mossy Meadow ink with Sponge Daubers before stamping the image onto Very Vanilla card stock.  I love the way all these colors fade into each other to create beautiful Fall leaves.  I added some fun Autumn Wooden Elements with the Old Olive fibers from the Two-Tone Trim...it was really easy to separate the Old Olive fibers from the Natural fibers simply by pulling them apart.

Letterpress Winter

The Letterpress Winter Photopolymer Stamp Set and All is Calm Specialty Designer Series Papers were used to create today's card.  I love the beautiful colors in the specialty paper...Lost Lagoon, Soft Sky, and Pear Pizzazz.  It may be hard to see in this photo, but the banner was cut from from a Silver Foil sheet, which looks really nice with the Silver embossing and Rhinestone Jewels.  I used the Circles Framelits and Punches to create layers and dimension on this 4 1/4" square card.

Holiday Home

This is one of four cards we'll be making at my Make 'N Take Card Class tonight.  I used the Holiday Home Stamp Set and coordinating Homemade Holiday Framelits to create this clean and simple Thanksgiving card.  The stamp set and framelits are offered in a bundle at a 15% discount! 

I love these whimsical Fall leaves.  I used Tangelo Twist, Cajun Craze and Hello Honey inks to stamp them...perfect autumn colors.  And since this is a photopolymer stamp set...completely clear, I was able to see exactly where I wanted to stamp the leaves. Since the photopolymer is flexible, I was able to position the sentiment onto the clear block with a little bit of a curve...so fun!!

Ornamental Pine

The Christmas season is easily my favorite time of year, and the new Ornamental Pine stamp set brings back memories of the smell of fresh pine and the quiet stillness of winter.  All the images and sentiments I need to complete a full card are included in this one set.  It's perfect for making lovely traditional Christmas cards.

This card is so beautiful in person...it's hard to see in the photo, but it sparkles with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter over the pine needes and pine cone.  To add a pop of color against the Mossy Meadow pine, I cut Cherry Cobbler 1" Sheer Linen Ribbon to about 3/8" and tied it into a knot.

The Holiday Catalog is here!!!  I'm so excited about this catalog!  It's loaded with beautiful new stamps and accessories for all of the holidays...everything from Halloween through Valentine's Day!!   I have so many favorites...it was hard to choose which ones I HAD to have ; )  This is definitely one of them...the Festival of Trees stamp set and coordinating Tree Punch.

I have had requests from my long-distance customers for a Make 'N Take Card Kit, and I am very happy to offer one!  These are the four card designs and kit details...

Card Kit Includes: 

• Pre-cut & scored Card Stock & Envelopes for all four cards 
• Embellishments (ribbons, buttons, pearls, rhinestones, etc.)
• Pre-punched elements*
• Step-by-step instructions & supply list with project photos

Pre-cut supplies are packaged separately in clear cellophane envelopes, one for each of the four projects.

 

*Please Note...Kits do not include stamps, stamped images (per Stampin' Up! policy) or adhesives.  Since the tree and wreath images cannot be stamped for you, they will not be punched or die-cut.  You will receive the card stock needed to stamp and punch or die-cut these elements.

August Make 'N Take Card Class

Age Awareness Belated Birthday Card

The Age Awareness Photopolymer stamp set was a "must have" for me!  Because, more times than not, I'm late sending out birthday cards :-/   I must do better!!  Anyway...I love this card!  It's masculine and fun and super easy to make!  I used the Back to Black Designer Series Paper...definitely a favorite!!  In fact, I just ordered three packs of it and got a pack of Flashback DSP FREE!  The Designer Series Paper Special is good until through July, so stock up now!!

Thoughts & Prayers Sympathy Card

Today's sympathy card was stamped with the tree image and sentiment from the Thoughts & Prayers stamp set.  I love the delicate leaves on this image...so pretty!

 For the butterfly, I created an ombre' effect by using the brush tip of the Daffodil Delight Blendabilities on a scrap of Whisper White card stock.  I started with the dark marker and worked my way down to the light, overlapping all three shades until they were blended evenly.  Then I punched the butterfly and attached it to the card with a glue dot.

This is the third card design for this month's Make 'N Take, so if you've been wanting to try out the new Blendabilities, this is a great opportunity!  This month's card class is on July 30th & 31st.  Contact me to sign up.
