Best Wishes Blossom Box

Today's project is a Blossom Box made with pretty Pool Party Patterns Designer Paper, the Fancy Flower Punch, a Filigree Designer Brad and Pear Pizzazz 1/2" Seam Binding.  The sentiment is from the Petite Pairs stamp set.  The Blossom Box measures about 1" deep x 2 3/4" round and is a beautiful way to package a small gift. 

To make the flower, I punched two Fancy Flowers from Pool Party card stock, ran them through the Crimper twice in opposite directions, crumpled them up and then peeled the layers of the card stock apart to end up with four thinner layers.  I used a small Rhinestone Brad in the center of the Filigree Brad to secure the four layers together.

So Saffron Sympathy Card

Today's sympathy card is stamped with the Apothecary Art stamp set and the sentiment is from the Loving Thoughts stamp set...it fits perfectly on this label image. The decorative edges were created with the Adorning Accents Edgelits die.  I used So Saffron for this card and love the soft look of the So Saffron Designer Paper with it.  So pretty!

This week has been super busy and time has gotten away from me, but I had intended to have a video to go with this.   I'll try to get it finished and add it a little later.  Have a great Friday!

Update:  The video tutorial is ready!  I show how to evenly layer your decorative edges.  You will measure and cut the layers just as you would if you were layering straight edges.  Then position the Edgelit die exactly the same measurement from the edge of the card stock for each layer when die-cutting.

Easter Designer Frames Matchbox

Today's Easter Matchbox was our 3D Stamp Club Project this month.  We used the Matchbox Die and Designer Frames Embossing Folder with the XL Oval Punch to create this.  The box is super easy to assemble and adding the window makes it really special!  This is an Easter version of my Valentine Matchbox. Everyday Enchantment Corner Bookmark

I used the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Papers and Brads from the Sale-a-Bration Brochure and Button Buddies Stamp Set to make this cute Corner Bookmark.  The pretty scalloped edges were die-cut with the Adorning Accents Edgelits Die and then layered together.  Corner bookmarks are fun to make, but this was even better because I was able use my new Simply Scored Diagonal Plate instead of a ruler!  Watch my video to learn how to make the bookmark using the new Diagonal Plate and Scalloped Edgelits Die.

Punch Art Chick Treat Bag

This is my version of a Punch Art Chick.  Lots of punches were used to make this, you'll find them in my supply list.  The colors are Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral, I used the Everyday Enchantment Organdy Ribbon for her little bow.  The 1"x 8" Cellophane Bag is filled with Starburst jellybeans and then I attached the chick to the top of the bag with a dimensional. 

I couldn't decide whether I liked the small white circles on her eyes or not, here's what she looks like without them...

Update:  The video is ready.  Thanks for all your comments, I love hearing from you, and really appreciate your opinions and ideas!  It was suggested that try using the white gel pen to finish the eyes...and I do like it better : ) 

A Helpful Tip:  I haven't used my gel pen in a long time and it appeared to be dried up. Just unscrew the tip of the gel pen and remove the inside tube.  Blow into the end of the tube a few times and it will get the ink flowing...it really works!!!

Valentine Designer Frame Matchbox

Ohhh this turned out so cute!!!  It's the Matchbox Die with an oval window I made using the Designer Frames Embossing Folder and Extra-Large Oval Punch...too cool!!!  I love it : )  I attached a piece of Window Sheet with Glue Dots to the back side of the frame.  The little hearts were made with the Fashionable Hearts Embosslits Die. 

The Designer Frames have been on my wish list since last July, and I just got them free with my Sale-a-Bration order of $50!  Here's what the box looks like filled...

Since I was making this for Valentine's Day, I decorated it with the little hearts, but I can see this with little flowers or a tag with some wording too.  What a cute idea for party favors, Mother's Day, weddings, birthdays...really any occasion!

Framelits Gift Bag

 

I'm really having fun with my Framelits Dies!  The topper on this gift bag was made by layering the two largest dies from the Framelits Labels Collection .  I love this pretty patterned paper...it's from the  Twitterpated Designer Series Papers on page 13 of the Occasions Mini Catalog.  The idea for this bag came from my upline, Angie, but I switched it up a little and used the Framelits Labels for the topper, which gives it sort of a vintage look.

The flower was made using the small flower from the Fun Flowers Die and the Scallop Circle Punch...I die cut a couple of the small fun flowers and punched several scallop circles from designer paper and card stock.  Then I ran them through the Crimper a couple of times, crumpled them up and layered them together with an Antique Brad.  Velcro is used to hold the bag closed. 

I'm working on a video tutorial and hope to have it finished later today.  For now, I've provided the written instructions & supply list...I typed these up pretty quick, so let me know if you have questions.

Valentine Ghirardelli Chocolate Box

This sweet little box was our 3D project for Stamp Club this month.  It holds three Ghriardelli chocolate squares perfectly!  We used the P.S. I Love You stamp set and the 1" and 1 3/8" Circle Punches, Scallop Circle Punch and Small Heart Punch to quickly create the elements to decorate the box...so easy!

Snowman Soup

Here's a Snowman Soup Gift Box made with the Fancy Favor Die and Snow Much Fun Stamp Set.  I stamped the snowman with Black StazOn and then colored with a blender pen and ink from the markers.  Then added a little Dazzling Diamonds Glitter with the 2-Way Glue Pen, because sparkle is always good...especially on a snowman :)   I typed the Snowman Soup tag and poem and printed onto white card stock, then punched out "snowman soup" with the Modern Label Punch.  I put the poem on the back of the box.

The medium cellophane bag is filled with a packet of hot chocolate mix, marshmallows, chocolate chips and a candy cane.  This makes a great teacher's gift or a little something for co-workers, friends, etc. 

I recorded a video tutorial to show how I made this and have been trying since 7:30 this morning to publish it...for some reason it keeps failing :-/  I'll keep trying and let you know as soon as it's ready to watch.
